Description
The Department is in the process of transitioning from the Whole of Government platform of ECC5 to a new owned and operated SAP ERP6 solution and associated components. This fully owned and managed SAP solution gives the Department the tools to improve functionality and flexibility, implement an integrated strategic reporting solution, manage the data within the department’s data management framework and provided improved corporate governance to allow the Departments CEO to fulfil his accountabilities under the shared services
The SAP solution will go live on 1st October 2013 and from that point forward the SAP ERP solution and associated components will be supported by a DETE managed support team consisting of public service roles and contracted services.
The DETE SAP Support Centre requires the services of a MM/SRM Consultant commencing on approximately 5 August 2013 through to 31 October 2014 to work with the program during the program to operations cutover period and then to support the solution for the first 12 months.
