Development and Delivery of Disability Awareness Information Sessions

The Training Consortium is seeking tenders for the purpose of establishing a panel of preferred contractors to develop and deliver workshops aimed at improving the awareness of Tasmanian State Sector employees in the Tasmanian Government's Disability Framework for Action (DFA). The DFA is a whole-of-governemnt approach to policy and planning, service delivery and evaluation that seeks to remove barriers and enable people with a disability to enjoy the same rights and opportunities as other Tasmanians. The aim of the sessions is to improve awareness of the principles and objectives of the DFA and to ensure all Participants develop an understanding of the issues and needs of people with a disability, both in the workplace and in the broader community.
