ENERGYCONNECT - SECUREENERGY - Elevation Lighting and Power Plant.

Opportunity Description. SecureEnergy wish to identify suppliers that have the capacity to provide a range of plant:
. Telehandlers 6-19m reach / 5 - 25T
. Generators 5 - 100kVA
. Lighting Towers
. Elevated Work Platforms / Boom Lifts etc
All vehicles including road worthy mobile plant used for Works under Contract shall be fitted with GPS tracking capability, dash camera and Operator Fatigue Management systems as a minimum.

Equipment should be to Industry safety and maintenance standards and be provided with a plant hazard risk assessment.
Operators should possess all necessary VOC and National Certifications of safe plant operation.
Plant and equipment will operate out of SecureEnergy's laydowns of which 7 are proposed between Wagga Wagga and the SA Boarder.
Supplier Requirements. SecureEnergy requires suppliers that:
. Have a demonstrated track record of providing Plant and Equipment hire for a Tier One Contractors.
. Have updated service logs for all plant and equipment.
. Have the required government or industry certifications, licenses, associations and/or insurances to deliver the opportunity.
. Have an exemplary safety record and a documented management system for tracking safety performance.
. Are financially viable and can demonstrate commercial value.
. Can demonstrate a strong commitment to training and retaining a local workforce.
. Have an excellent track record in employing and progressing the careers of Indigenous people.
. Are progressively finding ways to develop the careers of women, veterans and people with disabilities.
. Treat the environmental they are working in with respect and consideration.

About the Project Contractor

SecureEnergy (a venture of Elecnor Australia) was awarded the engineering, construction and procurement (EPC) contract for a new 700km 330kv transmission line extending from Wagga Wagga NSW to the South Australian border of Transgrid's EnergyConnect project in June 2021. Construction on this project started in 2022 and is anticipated to be completed within the next 12 months.
Throughout the delivery phase, Elecnor has been committed to providing economic benefit to the local and Indigenous communities along the project route. As of May 2025, almost $240 million has been spent procuring good and services from businesses and suppliers based in the local government areas, and almost $18 m has been spent with First Nations groups and businesses.
Elecnor Australia aims to maximise procurement of local suppliers, where possible, prioritised by three levels of business location:
