Marine and Safety Tasmania (MAST) manage 87 lit navigation aids and 171 unit navigation aids around the Tasmanian coastline. MAST is seeking to engage through a "Request for Tender" a suitably experienced Contractor to undertake the following navigation aid works for the next five years: Planned and remedial maintenance to navigation aids Storage and management of spare parts and equipment Reporting on the condition of navigation aids Reporting on the reliability of navigation aids Record keeping of all navigation aid maintenance Technical advice to MAST Breakdown maintenance including the provision of appropriate navigational warnings.
