Description
Council invies quotations for installation of a walking path from Arden Vale Road & Silo Road along the reserve and creek bed to the community centre crossing the footbridge and return to Arden Vale Road & Silo Road. This new path will vital community infrastructure including the swimming pool Quorn Caravan Park community oval and tennis and netball courts. This pathway is a key link from the central business district to the sports precinct.
The pathway will enable the establishment of a bush food garden walk which will become a key tourist drawcar, showcasing the food taht can be grown in the bush. The walk will form part of a new brand for Quorn and the region as the Bush Food Capital of Australia.
