Description
The Department of Primary Industry and Regions (PIRSA) is seeking to establish a panel arrangement for the purchase of livestock for the South Australian Research and Development Institute’s (SARDI) Struan Research Centre, to continue farming and research commitments. The need is to purchase a variety of stock throughout the year, ranging from:
- Steers;
- Friesian Bulls;
- Bulls;
- Ewes; and
- Rams.
The livestock purchase from suppliers through the panel arrangement will allow for a more agile way of doing business with suppliers, in a form that is more efficient and effective that aligns with the nature of the livestock trading industry.
