Supply of Phacoemulsification Systems, Associated Consumables and Maintenance to East Metropolitan Health Service

This Request is for the supply and delivery of three Phacoemulsification Surgical Systems with associated accessories, supply of consumables for East Metropolitan Health Service (EMHS). The systems acquired under the proposed Contract will replace existing ophthalmic surgical equipment that is nearing the end of their expected life.

One of the replacement systems will be located at Royal Perth Hospital (RPH), with the other two being located at Bentley Health Service (BHS), where both of these sites perform ophthalmic surgery for WA Health's public patients.

The Contract Authority may also establish post-warranty service and maintenance agreements that will commence upon the expiry of the warranty period and be for a period of up to six years.

The total proposed term is seven years and will operate as a Standing Offer whereby Orders for Products (excluding capital equipment) and/or Services will be placed by the Customer/s on an as- required basis. Capital equipment will be acquired through a once-off purchase.

The Contract Authority is seeking to recommend a single Contractor for the supply of equipment, consumables, accessories and provision of post-warranty service and maintenance.
