The Department for Families and Communities (DFC) has responsibility for managing the process for South Australians adopting children from both within Australia and overseas countries. DFC is now seeking submissions for the provision of post adoption support services for members of the adoption community within South Australia including adoptees, birth mothers and fathers and adoptive parents of both local and inter country adoptions and, where appropriate, significant others such as their partners or children.
