Particulars
GovConnect fixed voice services have been (and continue to be) operating on the 2007 Government Telecommunications Agreement (GTA) with Telstra. However due to the ISDN to SIP migration project that commenced in October 2018 it was requested to defer any migration away from Telstra to avoid the additional complexity of cutting over ISDN services from Telstra to SIP services on a different carrier. All ISDN to SIP migrations have now been completed and there is no impediment to recontracting all fixed voice services with a significant reduction in ongoing costs.
