HSQ84846 - Courier and Freight Services

Queensland Health (QH), acting through Health Support Queensland (HSQ) Strategic Procurement and Supply (SPS), is seeking offers from suitably qualified suppliers for the provision of Courier and Freight Services. This Invitation to Offer (ITO) has a closure date of 30 April 2018 - 2.00pm Brisbane time.

This new supply arrangement will act as a Whole of Government (WoG) Standing Offer Arrangement (SOA) and will replace the current WoG supply arrangement 826-11 Courier and Freight Services due for expiration on 30 June 2018.

The scope of services sought under this arrangement will include but are not limited to;

• Ad-Hoc Courier and Freight Services
• Scheduled Courier and Freight Services
• Brokerage Services/Special Event Services
• Interstate/International Services
• Dangerous Goods (Contaminated Goods/biological/industrial, Nuclear Medicine)
• Specialist Medical Transportation (Pathology, Sterilised Equipment handling)
• Palletised Loads.

Out of scope for this arrangement;

• Australian Post mail represented by regulated letter/parcels, registered mail and mail to Post Office addresses under the control of Australia Post as legislated in the Australian Postal Corporations Act 1989 (Regulated Postal Services); and
• the transport of goods supplied under other arrangements where freight forms part of those Arrangements (i.e. goods purchased on a Free In to Store basis).
