Queensland Adult Deterioration Detection System (Q-ADDS)

Offers are invited by Queensland Health in this Request for Offer numbered QCHO/010653 to conduct research to validate the Queensland Adult Deterioration Detection System (Q-ADDS), and identify and address socio-cultural factors influencing compliance with existing hospital care escalation systems.

Depending on requirements these goods / services specifically include:

• The validation and socio-cultural research will encompass tertiary, secondary, rural and/or remote public facilities to ensure a comprehensive analysis. This will allow the research to adequately reflect the diversity of Queensland’s public sector health services.
• Only facilities where the paper based Q-ADDS documents are used are included in the research.
• Sites where electronic data is available could be used but only to determine the normative range of observations for hospitalised adult patients to support the validation of observation parameters
• Adult records only are included in this research

It does not include

• private hospitals
• paediatric records
• sites where electronic observation data is recorded
