Description
The Works involve the modification and rectification of the existing Engine Run-up Facility to address issues relating to the current safety and non-compliant aspects of the facility, to enable the safe testing of the Hawk aircraft at maximum rated thrust.
The works will include;
1. Procure, supply and install a proprietary wheel restraint system,
2. Demolish and replacement of existing concrete floor,
3. Supply and install a mechanical exhaust system to extract the vented fumes from the Auxiliary Power Unit,
4. Supply and install replacement proprietary steel acoustic doors including full acoustic seals,
5. Supply and install a cast stainless steel sump with a class C grate to capture fuel and oil, and
6. Supply and install anti-slip painted flooring surface.
