Description
The project will involve a combination of refurbishment and extension of existing building/infrastructure (with some facilites requiring radio frequency interference shielding) and minor new works involving roads, concrete pads and storage sheds.
The Design Services Contract is anticipated to be awarded by early March 2010 with the completion of detailed design works by early August 2010.
The total value of the project is estimated to be in the order of $10 million.
The Invitation to Register Interest document will be available from 10 September 2009.
The National Code of Practice for the Construction Industry and the Australian Government Implementation Guidelines for the National Code of Practice for the Construction Industry, August 2009, apply to this project.
The Australian Government Building and Construction OHS Accreditation Scheme authorised by the Building and Construction Industry Improvement Act 2005 (Cth) and the Building and Construction Industry Improvement (Accreditation Scheme) Regulations 2005 (Cth) applies to this contract.
