Description
The Department of Local Government and Planning is funding major upgrades to the water supply, sewerage infrastructure and landfill, as well as providing new serviced lots in Aurukun.
Offers are sought from suitably qualified contractors for construction of the following works:
• Bore infrastructure upgrades: Mains, enclosures and electrical control and instrument equipment
• Water reticulation replacement and associated works: approx 15 km
• Water compound upgrades: New 1.2 ML concrete reservoir and associated pipe work, pumps, enclosures and electrical control and instrument equipment.
• Sewer upgrades: Mains, pump stations, overflow tanks and electrical control and instrument equipment
• Lagoon upgrades: Inlet, de-sludging and solar powered mixers
• Landfill upgrades: Existing cell upgrades, two new cells and leachate pond liner
• Serviced land: development of 17 new serviced lots
