Description

The Department of Natural Resources and Environment’s (the Department) Threatened Species and Conservation Programs Branch requires the design, supply, installation and commissioning of up to three large sheds to house captive Tasmanian devils for the Save the Tasmanian Devil Program.

The sheds will be located adjacent to existing facilities at the Five Mile Beach Wildlife Management Facility at 200 Pittwater Road, Seven Mile Beach.

The footprint of the Five Mile Beach Wildlife Management Facility will be extended to accommodate the sheds and the site will have secure perimeter fencing.

Potentail contractors should note that there will be related works at this site including upgrades to tracks for access to the proposed site, installation of perimeter security fencing and a hard stand.

To ensure minimal disruption to wildlife management operations, works to upgrade access tracks and install perimeter fencing must be completed in sequence before any onsite construction of sheds can commence. Details for this are contained in the RFQ.
