Description of the goods and services to be provided
The scope is to engage a specialist service provider to deliver at least 65 on-site lean manufacturing audits for small and medium-sized manufacturers across regional NSW. These audits will assess workforce skills and capabilities, identify opportunities for productivity and efficiency improvements, and recommend tailored lean methodologies. The provider must deliver an outcomes report to the NSW Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, detailing quantified improvements, training options, implementation costs and key metrics. Subcontracting is permitted, but partial bids will not be accepted. A separate process will be run by the department to identify the businesses to be audited.
