Register of Prequalified Suppliers for Habitat Restoration Works

Redland City Council (RCC) requires the services of suitably qualified and experienced contractors to undertake habitat restoration works on the Mainland, North Stradbroke Island, Coochiemudlo Island and the Southern Moreton Bay Islands of Russell, Lamb and Macleay and Karragarra Islands.

Important: Contractors should note that these services are only sought for sites that do not pose any unusual circumstances that would pose additional costs like difficult slopes, large weed trees, car bodies, trailer loads of dumped rubbish.

The scope of the services sought includes, but is not limited to:

• Weed Control
• Ripping of Soil
• Supply, delivery and spreading of forest mulch
• Supply and installation of erosion control matting
• Monthly maintenance of erosion control matting rolls
• Planting of native tubes and follow up watering of native tubes
• Supply and installation of sediment control fencing and coir logs
• Ongoing rubbish removal
• Supply and installation of wallaby fencing (as per Appendix 1)
• Installation of heavy duty mesh guard
• Removal of heavy duty mesh guard
• Revegetation and regeneration works: hourly rates
