Weipa Hospital Master Plan

The Queensland Government is seeking Proposals for the provision of a Master Plan for the Weipa Hospital and associated health care facilities.

The successful proponent will be required to provide a Master Plan Report and Site Drawings for the existing hospital site, the old Weipa hospital site and outreach programs, which provide:

1. An in-depth and broad review of the Weipa Hospital Health Services, including outreach programs.
2. A coherent plan and strategy to make informed and planned decisions on future capital works, infrastructure and space allocation needs.
3. Provide costed, future infrastructure options.
4. A high-level, conceptual understanding of the possible staging requirements for complex works in order to help maintain the continued delivery of services.
5. An innovative and forward thinking vision that meets short, medium and long term requirements for the HHS with in the Weipa region, with consideration of current and forecasted needs for 5 years and 20 years.
