Tenderers are to note the following items have been clarified on site.

Civil design items

·The works include the construction of the low-flow outflow pipe to Pedler Creek.

·A concrete cut off plug is required measuring 500mm around and beyond the pipe’s circumference, 300 thick.

·Rock apron. The grading of rock to be provided beyond the existing Reno mattresses shall be amended to 150 to 300mm. (Plan currently shows 50 to 300mm). This change is promoting more voids for planting.

·Earthworks shown on plans terminate and match to existing at the stage line boundary shown on plans as a red dashed line.

Landscape / revegetation items

·Site preparation completed before this contract begins will include:

otwo herbicide treatments to stage one civil works area in

§late winter 2003 to control winter active perennial weeds,

§December 2003 to control summer active weeds.

oSlashing of remainder of site (outside stage one civil works) in Dec 2003.

oRemoval of all woody weeds (Acacia saligna) from the site.

·The requirement for stripping and dumping of organic matter from the site is reduced due to this pre-site works weed management.

·Contractors to note that plants for stage one revegetation have been pre-ordered by council separately to this contract.
