Description

The Western Australian Government is investing $1.2 billion in a world class paediatric care and child health research facility to be completed in 2015. The New Children’s Hospital (NCH) project design incorporates Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) within the facility to assist with internal transportation of supplies, linen, sterile items, waste, and patient meals. The State seeks the expertise of an independent AGV specialist advisor to enable the project team to be informed on AGV international trends and status including history, current market capability, future trends, and likely challenges. The AGV specialist advisor will also be expected to assist in the planning, procurement, operational model development, transition, and commissioning of AGVs and the associated trolley solutions.
