Description
The Public Transport Authority of WA (PTA) is assisting the Department of Sport and Recreation (DSR) and Department of Treasury, Strategic Projects (SP) to initiate key environmental studies and obtain environmental approvals for the proposed Master Plan on the Burswood peninsula. The proposed Master Plan will identify the major land uses proposed within the site, including the sports stadium, train station, bus hub, pedestrian bridge to East Perth and ancillary infrastructure.
The aim of the contamination and estuarine investigations is to further characterise the defined areas in the context of the proposed works and ultimate land uses.
