Metropolitan Adelaide Waste to Resources Plan.

This is a jointly funded project between the Southern Region Waste Resource Authority (SRWRA), the Environment Protection Agency (EPA) and the Department of Industry and Trade. SRWRA and EPA will manage the project. The principal outcome of this study will be to report on the most sustainable waste management options for metropolitan Adelaide and to provide comprehensive options for the location and extent of waste reuse activities and infrastructure required to service those options. A specific objective is to develop a waste plan for metropolitan Adelaide based on examination of existing and alternative waste management technologies and including consideration of a range of diversion scenarios for recoverable and recyclable materials form the kerbside waste stream.
