Description
The Department is required under the Australian Standards AS1851-2012, AS/NZS 1841, AS 2444, AS/NZS 3504 and Building Code of Australia (BCA) to supply and maintain fire safety equipment within its tenancies. The specific maintenance provisions vary from state to state because of different regulatory frameworks and approaches to adoption of newer editions of the (AS) Standards.
The Department is looking to engage a fire services maintenance provider (or providers) for ongoing maintenance, repairs, upkeep, administration function and any resulting project works associated with its tenant fire services in its leased premises throughout Australia.
