Description

The Geological Survey of Western Australia (GSWA) is a division of the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DMIRS). Deep seismic reflection profiling is an on-going component of GSWA's regional geophysical acquisition program, with survey operations undertaken by specialist seismic acquisition companies under contract to DMIRS (Seismic Contractor).

It is routine practice in such surveys for DMIRS to appoint an independent person to act as our representative to oversee the Seismic Contractor's field operations.

DMIRS is seeking to establish a panel of suppliers for the provision of such Seismic Field Supervision ('bird-dog') services (the 'Services') that DMIRS could call upon as necessary.

At present, DMIRS is engaged in a program of up to 1200 km of deep crustal reflection seismic surveys in the Southwest, Great Southern and Midwest regions.
