PV Dauntless currently has a top speed of around 27 knots on the flat water and this is considered a minimum requirement of any inboard repower solution offered. Tasmania Police require the repower of this vessel to an acceptable fit for purpose level to conduct its numerous Marine Search and Rescue activities often in adverse weather conditions.
