Provision of Physical Training to Fire Fighters at Fire Stations

The Fire and Emergency Services Authority of Western Australia (FESA) is seeking the services of suitably experienced and credentialed physical fitness suppliers to provide quality physical fitness services. FESA will require these services to be provided to career fire fighters in fire stations across both the Perth Metropolitan area and the cities of Albany, Bunbury, Geraldton and Kalgoorlie. The City of Australind may also require physical fitness services under this contract when the fire station is officially opened.

Please note that other FESA staff members may also request the physical fitness services under this contract.

It is anticipated that approximately 520 career firefighters from the Perth Metropolitan area and a total of 80 career firefighters from each of the country areas will require these services. Each career firefighter will typically require two (2) separate sessions for a minimum of one (1) hour duration.

A non- mandatory briefing will be held at FESA House on Thursday 10th March 2011 to further clarify the requirements specifed in the Request document. Details on how to register for the non-mandatory briefing are provided in the Request document.
