Description
The expansion of the Perth urban railway network has presented an opportunity to improve the integration between public transport and cycling. It is proposed to install large-scale secure bicycle parking facilities at selected train stations. These facilities will be a mixture of lockers, enclosures and U-rails, and will either be located in manned secure car parks or within view of Transit Guard offices and Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras.
Fourteen stations have been earmarked to have secure bicycle storage facilities installed.
