RAAF Base Richmond Program of Works

In respect of ESTA7404PH1 Facilities Support to AIR7404 Phase 1 Medium Air Mobility Aircraft (capability), the works include the following:

• Airside infrastructure including but not limited to runways, taxiways, and apron.
• Fuel infrastructure including but not limited to fuel hydrants to enable aircraft refuelling as well as airside refuelling points for Ground Support Equipment.
• Flight line and air operations facilities including but not limited to individual Squadron working accommodation, combined Squadron facilities, Air Movements Terminal, and cargo handling facilities.
• Aircraft Deep Maintenance and Operator Maintenance hangars and warehouses.
• Service infrastructure connections from Airside facilities to Base infrastructure.
• Second Base entry to enable heavy vehicle entry.
• Multi-storey carpark.
• Explosive ordnance facilities inclusive of Ordnance Loading Areas; and
• Potential demolition and remediation prior to construction of new facilities or infrastructure.

In respect of EST02026 RAAF Base Richmond Redevelopment Project, the works include the following:

• Civil and in-ground infrastructure replacement and upgrades across the whole site, including but not limited to water, sewer, stormwater, electrical, and ICT. This may include interfaces with other infrastructure work being delivered concurrently to the program.
• Working accommodation upgrades and refurbishments, including but not limited to the Air Base Command Post, Air Mobility Control Centre, and Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility.
• Warehousing, storage facilities, and access roads in support of Joint Logistics Unit.
• Living-in accommodation including but not limited to Permanent, Transits, and Cadet.
• Retail and messing precinct consolidation.
• Gymnasium and recreation facilities consolidation.
• Health facility consolidation in support of Garrison Health and expeditionary health units; and
• Potential demolition and remediation prior to construction of new facilities or infrastructure.
