Calliope SHS - SSS Agriculture Shed (With Design Responsibility)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a SSS Agriculture Shed at Calliope SHS, located at 55 Don Cameron Drive, Calliope QLD 4680, as part of the School Subsidy Scheme (SSS) program.

The new shed is open plan with a concrete slab and enclosed structure at one end, with electrical connection and lights. The position of the building is at the rear of the school with easy site access and ample working space. All works are to be completed by February 2024.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1 Million

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
