Isis District State High School - B Block Refurbishment

The Department of Education (DoE) is inviting tenders for Principal Contractors to undertake the refurbishment works at Block of the Isis District State High School building at 3 Ridgway Street, Childers QLD 4660.

Electronic tenders are to be submitted by Friday, 6^th December 2024 at 2:00pm at [email hidden].

SITE VISIT:

A site inspection has been arranged on Wednesday, 11^th December 2024 at 10:00am, at the Isis District State High School building at 3 Ridgway Street, Childers QLD 4660.

Meet outside the Administration Building.

Only PQC Level 2 eligible Building Contractors will be provided the tender documents.

The refurbishment scope of works will generally involve the following construction activities;

• Demolition and removal of items as outlined in the documentation.
• Procurement and Installation of new Teaching Walls / Operable Walls
• Paint new walls & repair/patch and repaint damaged walls where documented.
• Floor Make Good and substrate Preparation as documented
• Repair/replacement of damaged ceiling tiles.
• Safe Removal of Asbestos Materials if encountered.
• Power and Data upgrades where noted
• Removal of existing Air Conditioning and Installation of new Air Conditioning unit.
• Installation of new Blinds

IMPORTANT: Where a PQC Level is stated, the Principal is not obliged to provide a tender document, consider or accept a tender unless the tenderer: is pre-qualified under the Queensland Government’s Prequalification (PQC) System to the nominated level (or higher); satisfies financial requirements; and meets project-specific criteria.
