Description
The objective of the Vertical Transport Program is to replace vertical transport assets that are reaching the end of their useful life. The complete program includes the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of 30 heavy-duty escalators and 26 new-generation lifts across train stations in the PTA network. This will enhance safety, accessibility, and operational reliability. To ensure manageability and efficient delivery, the program has been divided into multiple stages, each involving the replacement of 7 to 12 assets at different locations. To support the successful delivery of this program, the PTA seeks to engage a Vertical Transport Project Engineer early in the project lifecycle. The Project Engineer will provide technical oversight, quality assurance, and compliance monitoring across key delivery milestones and hold points for Stage 1, with the option 1 to extend into Stage 2.
