Collingwood Park SS - Prep Precinct & Overland Flow Rectification (With Design Responsibility)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of the proposed Prep Precinct and Overland Flow Rectification works at Collingwood Park SS, located at Hannant St & Burrel Street, Collingwood Park QLD 4301, as part of the Targeted Maintenance Program (TMP).

The scope of works comprises of the design and construction of a new Prep Precinct with the aim to resolve known overland flow issues and subsequently erosion. This will be achieved through the construction of various new hard and soft scape elements including but not limited to new earthworks, concrete paths, softfall, drainage swales and planting. All works are to be completed by May 2025.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1m

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
