Atherton Hospital Redevelopment, Final Power Solution - D&C Building Contractor

The State of Queensland through Queensland Health and the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service (CHHHS) is undertaking the procurement of a suitably qualified D&C Building Contractor to design, document and construct the Atherton Hospital Redevelopment - Final Power Solution.

The purpose of the Final Power Solution is the upgrade the standby power system at the Atherton Hospital by replacing the 500kVA generators with 1000KVa generators and the disconnection of the interim generator, including all electrical works associated with this scope.

The project also includes associated structural, acoustic and mechanical works to the Electrical Services Building, and minor building works including a door widening, wall extension works and modifications to and existing balustrade. In addition, security works (CCTV and duress) are to be provided to the adjacent staff car park.
