Life Styles Inventory Rollout

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) is a part if the Environment and Conservation Portfolio which is the responsibility of the Minister for Sustainability, Environment and Conservation. DENR have an essential role to help government and South Australians make good decisions about the environment and natural resources that will lead to long-term prosperity. Over the next two years DENR will work towards three goals:
• the environment is conserved and natural resources are used sustainably;
• the environment is valued and enjoyed; and
• the environment and climate change are integral to government, sectoral and community decision-making.

DENR is requesting applications by providers accredited in the Human Synergistics’ Life Styles Inventory (LSI) to provide LSI 1 and LSI 2 assessments and debriefs, as well as propose post-debrief support options to approximately 95 managers in the DENR Senior Leadership Group by 30 June 2012.

The objectives of this LSI Rollout are:
• use of the LSI as a leadership behavioural model to assist cultural change within DENR;
• approximately 95 managers in the Senior Leadership Group will have an LSI 1 profile and LSI 2 profile;
• the managers will have a comprehensive understanding of their profiles and thinking styles; and
• the managers will have a proposed plan for development areas and programs designed specifically to support them to make changes in their thinking and behavioural styles.
