Mount Beauty No. 1 Basin CWS Remediation Works

North East Water is seeking a suitably qualified Principal contractor to undertake remediation works to Mt Beauty No.1 Basin Clear Water Storage to ensure the asset continues to provide safe drinking water to North East Water customers for many years to come.
The associated remediation works are to be based on a condition assessment report that has been completed prior to aid the delivery of this project.
The Clear Water Storage required to be remediated as part of this project and its approximate size, material type, installation year and location is listed below:
Mt Beauty No.1 Basin, 0.9 ML Concrete Basin
The list of proposed remediation activities required for this Clear Water Storage are as follows:
- Elastomeric joints
- Concrete cracks (internal and external)
- Concrete Protective Coatings (internal and external)
- Steel member replacement/refurbishment/ fixings /painting (internal and external)
- Steel Sheeting replacement, all fixings and exterior painting
- All cleaning and disinfection works
- Production of all remedial work documentation and reports
