Parks Victoria (PV) is seeking to engage a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to undertake:
- an environmental cost benefit analysis on a range of control options to inform program design for the complete eradication of each of: Introduced Predators, Deer, Rabbits and Environmental Weeds from Wilsons Promontory National Park. The project is to include consultation and engagement of relevant stakeholders as well as consideration of project documentation (implementation plan, processes, evaluation and monitoring plan).
- Technical feasibility assessments for the eradication of: Introduced Predators, Deer, Rabbits and Environmental Weeds in Wilsons Promontory National Park. Assessment will include detailing appropriate decision points (gateways) based on progress toward management goals for preferred control strategies.
- and the design of five-year eradication or management strategies for: Introduced Predators, Deer, Rabbits and Environmental Weeds (that will link with the 20-year strategy). These strategies will consider appropriate “stop/go” decision points (gateways) based on progress toward management goals.
