Description

The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) invites appropriately qualified and experienced organisations to submit for consideration by APRA proposals for the provision of services required for the NCPD project. These services include the design, development, implementation, maintenance, enhancement, and optional outsourcing of an appropriate IT solution for the secure collection, storage, analysis and reporting of claims and policies data. The data will be provided by various contributors including APRA-regulated general insurers and State & Territory general insurers. The scope of the NCPD Request For Proposals covers the following major services: 1.The ongoing, secure collection and transfer of claims and policies data from multiple sources external to APRA; 2.Secure processing, storage and management of the claims and policy data; 3.Development, production, sales and distribution of output such as reports, ad-hoc queries, on-line access and database sub-sets; 4.Enhancement services for changes to the solution as the scope, frequency and volume of input and output changes over time; and 5.Support, maintenance and documentation services for the total solution. Proposals are sought in relation to the outsourcing of all of the services listed above. The proposals will be reviewed for the purpose of better defining the APRA requirement, estimating cost, scheduling the project, assessing the merits of alternative solutions, reviewing ideas for possible solutions and selecting a short list of prospective tenderers. To be selected for the short list respondents submitting proposals will be required to demonstrate experience, value for money, capability, responsiveness and capacity. Suitably experienced organisations who are interested in being considered for this project must obtain an information package from APRA by registering with Adam Heath, Administration Manager [phone hidden] by phone or email [email hidden].
