Provision of specialist advice & technical expertise to support Phase 1 of Best practice Indigenous cancer care project

The successful Tenderer will adopt an evidence-based approach, providing expert advice and technical support to Cancer Australia and an expert Steering Group to:

1. define guiding principles for best practice Indigenous cancer care based on the evidence acquired through the development of the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cancer Framework. This will include national consultation to refine and validate these guiding principles; and

2. develop a planned approach to implementing Indigenous breast cancer demonstration projects (using the guiding principles for best practice Indigenous cancer care) in Regional Cancer Centres including identifying implementation steps, critical success factors, planning requirements, estimated project costs, potential risks and risk mitigation strategies, self-assessment tools and evaluation principles and approach.
