The Provisions for Construction Service - Concrete Crew

RoadTek is undertaking road widening and sealing works on the Peak Downs Highway (Clermont to Nebo) between Chainages 6.68 to 11.72.

The Peak Downs Highway from Clermont to Nebo, is a two-lane road with bitumen seal widths nominally between 6.0 – 9.0m. The section of highway being addressed under this contract has a seal width of 6.0m with major fatigue and deformation of the existing pavement evident throughout the section. Traffic volumes through the project section are approximately 654 vpd with 29% heavy vehicles.

The anticipated start date for the works is June 2021

In General, the offerors are required to undertake (but not limited to) the following tasks:

• Removal/Demolition of existing culvert end structures (headwalls and wingwalls)
• Removal/Demolition of existing culvert aprons
• Construction of wingwalls, headwalls and aprons as per Transport and Main Roads (TMR) Specifications, TMR Standard Drawings and Project Specific Drawings.
• Installation of RCP access pipes at a number of property access;
• Other miscellaneous drainage and concrete works as required.
