Invitation to Offer No. AQ 027/2019 Principal Contractor to install lights for Stanley Street Tunnel Project

The State of Queensland's Department of Environment and Science acting through Art Queensland (AQ) is seeking quotes from a Principal Contractor (Eligible PQC Level 3 Supplier) to install lights and associated fittings for the Stanley Street Tunnel Project.

AQ's Cultural Centre in South Brisbane Queensland includes the Stanley Street Tunnel which provides access to the Art Gallery/Museum car park as well as connecting Stanley Street and Stanley Place. The tunnel is currently classified as a private road although it offers unrestricted public access. The tunnel caters for 2-way traffic and has a sign posted speed limit of 40 km/h. The tunnel also incorporates a pedestrian walkway.

The scope of works includes, but is not limited to, light testing, removal of lights as documented and installation of new lights. Suppliers are to note: The new lights and associated fittings will be provided by AQ and is to be collected by the Principal Contractor from an offsite storage facility. The following are Mandatory ITO requirements: Principal Contractor (Supplier) to be listed as an Eligible Supplier with PQC Level 3 and attendance of Industry Briefing & Site Inspection.
