Project Name: Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) Critical Asset Renewal

Project Title: Works Package (WP) 1 - Supply and installation of a new automated lift system for the orchestra pit within the Lyric Theatre, QPAC (AQ 032/2019)

The State of Queensland represented by the Department of Environment & Science acting through Arts Queensland (the Principal) is seeking tenders from suitably qualified Project specific PQC Eligible Tenderers (minimum Level 3) to undertake the above Critical Asset Renewal Works Package at QPAC.

A single Head Contractor will be appointed to deliver the scope of works using appropriately skilled and licensed/certified staff and sub-contractors. The detailed scope of works are set out in the ITO and supporting tender documents. SPECIAL NOTES:

• Sub-contractors: the Principal has identified a number specialist sub-contractors (but not limited to) who the Head Contractor may wish to involve in the works, as referenced in Section 5 of the ITO.
• Mandatory Industry Briefing (MIB) and Site Inspection applies to this ITO and attendance is mandatory - refer applicable MIB and Site inspection section in ITO.
• Potential Tenderers must be listed on the Project specific Prequalified (PQC) System "Eligible Tenderer List" - refer applicable PQC Eligible Tenderer List section in ITO.
• Financial Capacity Assessment (FCA): Potential Tenderers are advised that a FCA will be conducted as part of the Principal's evaluation process - refer applicable FCA section in ITO.
