QRP-20-59 Gracemere Drop Pit Overhaul - Tender Overview

Queensland Rail invites offers to establish a Supply of Goods and Services Contract for the major 20-year overhaul of the Gracemere Drop Pit, these works are for the pit equipment and other associated equipment. A scope summary is included in the Preamble document.
This tender requires a suitably competent contractor to undertake the major overhaul works within a timely manner and to have overhaul works completed by no later than end of May 2021.
The scope applies to the bogie drop pit and associated equipment at the Queensland Rail Gracemere depot only.

Additional in-scope items include:
• Motor Control Centre (MCC)
• Sump pumps and sump pump override control box
• Wash bay
• Train jacks

Respondents who would like to download all documents and are interested in submitting a response, please follow the below instructions:

1. Tenderers are to email the nominated Contact Officer ( [email hidden] ) to register interest and to gain access the documents and online response form in the SAP Ariba Sourcing system with the following information:
a) Name of Tendering Organisation

2. Ariba Sourcing, Queensland Rail’s tendering system, is the only tool that will be used for the receipt of tender submissions. Queensland Rail will not accept any hardcopy responses or responses via the Queensland Government QTenders website.
3. Refer to the attached document “Ariba Guide for Suppliers (v1.1)” for instructions on how to navigate the Ariba Sourcing System (once you have registered your interest with the Contact Officer.
