Description
The Department is offering the opportunity for an entity to become a registered taxi dispatch service under section 28 of the Taxi Act 1994. The taxi dispatch service will be the only registered taxi dispatch service to which up to 41 leased MPT taxi plates will be required to affiliate.
The purpose of the appointment of a dedicated Multi-Purpose Taxi Dispatch Service is that a single taxi dispatch service will be responsible for the management of their MPT fleet that provides safe, accessible, on-demand transport for patrons who require a wheelchair-accessible taxi.
The appointment will be for an initial period of three (3) years with an extension option or options of up to a further maximum period of two (2) years.
