Provision of Cleaning and Sanitary Services

The City of Salisbury is one of the largest local government bodies in South Australia, serving a growing population of approximately 120,000 within a geographic area of 161 square kilometres. It is expected that the population will grow to 150,000 over the next 20 years with large developments such as the leading edge urban development at Mawson Lakes, and the release of land at DSTO.

The council employs over 400 staff and has an annual budget in excess of $120,000,000.

The City of Salisbury seeks to engage a provider(s) to undertake cleaning and sanitary services of its various facilities.

These services broadly include:
1. Daily, periodic, annual, reactive (including after hours emergency response) and specialist cleaning of nominated facilities/sites including wet areas, offices, kitchens, public areas, floors, windows etc,

2. Provision of materials, sanitary services and products including aerosol air freshers, sanitary disposal units, nappy disposal and urinary blocks for standard and waterless toilets,

3. Collection and disposal of sharps containers from public places within Salisbury, and

4. Provision of sundry services, eg, provision / cleaning of non-slip mats etc.
