Provision of Bulk Fuel to Rottnest Island

The Rottnest Island Authority (RIA) requires the provision of bulk fuel to perform the following functions:

• Sale of fuel to visitor boats and facilities operators;
• Sale of fuel to businesses; and
• Energy generation via diesel generators.

The RIA requires a single Contractor to supply bulk fuel to Rottnest Island. The Contractor is required to provide the following products:

• Unleaded petrol (ULP);
• Premium unleaded petrol (PULP); and
• Diesel

The fuel is to be transported via the Contractor’s fuel vehicle, which will access the island using RIA’s contracted barge service and deliver the fuel to two locations on the Island. The required locations are:

1. Fire Station: Powerhouse Tanks 1 and 2 (both 55,000L Diesel) and Tank 5 which stores 5KL ULP; and
2. Hub Office: Tanks 1, 2 and 3, which supply ULP, PUPL and Diesel to the Fuel Jetty.
