Description

The work is located at the Adelaide Railway Station. The project is the relocation of the Transit Police from the northern end of the building to a central location on the railway station concourse. The project comprises refurbishment and conversion work of two existing areas in the Adelaide Railway Station to accommodate a new shopfront for the Transit Police facing the concourse and the refurbishment and fitout of a separate adjacent area for the Transit Police administration. Construction incorporates the refurbishment of existing areas and refitting of those areas. Trades required will include but not necessarily be limited to concreting, brickwork, steelwork, plumbing, electrical/electronic, mechanical, joinery, workstations, carpeting and painting. There will be some minor heritage work involved to the shopfront facing the concourse. Tenders will only be considered from DAIS tenderers who are Prequalified General Building Contractors in Category 3 at the time tenders close. Neither the lowest nor any tender will necessarily be accepted.
