WA Public Transport Authority
Provision of a Creative Campaign Development - Stay off the Tracks
Details
Description
The Public Transport Authority (PTA) is a dynamic agency dedicated to the integrated delivery of rail, bus and ferry services in the Perth metropolitan area, and rail, coach and bus services in regional WA.
The PTA’s vision is to increase the use of public transport through the provision of customer-focussed, safe and cost-effective passenger transport services.
Stay off the Tracks is the PTA’s campaign aimed at reducing dangerous and anti-social behaviours across the rail network primarily through targeted track-side signage at train stations.
The campaign was last refreshed in 2010, with an additional mini campaign released in 2012. A recent evaluation completed in 2014 among target audiences, stakeholders and a sample of the train-using public has given the program clear direction for a new creative campaign development.
The successful tenderer will be required to create a community education campaign aimed at raising awareness of track safety and reducing the incidents of trespass, anti-social and other risk-taking behaviour on or around the Transperth rail network. This will include strengthening the current Stay off the Tracks branding and key messages as well as tailoring scenarios with additional messaging for specific key locations across the network.
