Engagement of Mediators and Conciliators for the Magistrates Court of Tasmania
Details
Description
To undertake mediations and conciliations for restraint orders, family violence matters, child protection and minor civil matters. To be paid in return an hourly rate, currently $65 per hour.
To conduct mediations and conciliations of civil claims, (i.e. currently greater than $5,000 but less than $50,000), for the fee charged to the parties, which is currently $300 plus GST per conciliation. These services are to be provided at court sites in Hobart, Launceston, Burnie and Devonport or any combination of the above.
