Description
The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions Broome has seen a consistent increase in the number of staff recruited, and the current office space at 111 Herbert Street, Broome has been exceeded. To support this increase, and for future needs, a custom-build transportable office and meeting space to accommodate 20-25 staff will be designed.
This request is for the provision of architectural services for:
- Expansion on the concept design in Attachment A
- Identification of necessary subconsultants for specialist advice and/or approvals
- Detailed design development
- Construction documentation ready for tendering
- Tender Requests for Information (RFIs), evaluation support and consultation
- Contract administration up to and including Practical Completion (PC) in the role of Superintendent’s Representative
The design requirements include, but are not limited to:
- 12x12m (Approx) Transportable office building internally fitted out with a mixture of single offices, open plan spaces, hot desks and meeting room
- External infrastructure including:
- Verandah decking
- Stairs and accessible ramps
- Accessible compliant pathways joining with the existing pathways
- Wall cladding (Colourbond or similar)
- Tropical roof
