23C122 Provision of Agricultural Civil Construction Services for Accommodation Works, Main South Road Duplication Project Stage 2

The Main South Road Duplication Project Stage 2 - Aldinga Beach Road to Sellicks Beach Road (the project) is the second stage of the duplication of Main South Road currently being delivered by the Fleurieu Connections Alliance (FCA). A number of properties are subject to land acquisition to facilitate the project, including agricultural properties that have internal headland tracks and access points contained within the new acquisition boundary. These tracks and access points are required to be reinstated as part of property accommodation works for an uninterrupted harvest and continuation of access to land. The objective of the procurement is to complete the necessary accommodation works, as agreed with property owners, to achieve timeframes to allow for the timely commencement of major construction activities.

The procurement scope involves:

• construction of rural-residential driveways;
• reinstatement of headland tracks for agricultural machinery;
• relocation and shaping of stock piles to ensure road material piles are optimally shaped to prevent erosion and dust generation; and
• construction of rural property crossovers including installation of stormwater drains.

PREQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Contractors must be prequalified with the Department under the National Prequalification System for Civil (Road and Bridge) Construction, in the following categories:

• R1 (Roadworks)
• F1 (Financial)
